Best washer I've ever owned

Pros: cleans and spins out superbly; super-quiet!
Cons: wash cycle takes 1 hour; no short-cycle washes

"I purchased this washer based on Consumer Reports recommendation and have been thrilled with it. I have been using it for 2 months now. It replaced a really cheap-o bottom of the line top-loading Whirlpool model that the house builder had installed when he built the house. I couldn't stand using the cheap-o model anymore that was so loud you couldn't hear the TV and couldn't get anything clean either, and I wanted to get a really GOOD washer to replace it, yet one that wouldn't bust the bank either, since I was replacing 4 appliances at one time. The washer is a kind of stripped-down model as far as the wash choices you have, and there are no short wash cycle choices (a load takes 1 hour), but it does the cleaning job superbly and spins the clothing out well so the dryer will dry them very quickly, and I couldn't possibly even describe how quiet it is compared to all my past washers!"

Great purchase

Pros: big inside so i can wash comforters, there is no mildu smell
Cons: none

"Finally, I have a great washing machine!
The process of purchasing from ajmadison was also easy and without hassle.
I would definitely buy from them again. I had to cancel an extra insurance and this was also relatively easy process.
Washing machine is easy to use and finally there is no awful smell of mold, however, I have to leave the door slightly ajar."
