"highly recomend. excellent produc. easy to install. looks great and works awesome. 1924 small space solved problem easily. would buy again. a.j.madison is a great company to work with. they give a great price and shipping is awesome. if you need to call customer service they actually answer the phone."

Pros: better looking and much quieter than window unit Cons: expensive when compared to window or floor unit.
"Ordering was a breeze. Delivery of brackets was prompt but balance of order was a bit delayed due to delivery company used. Install was what was expected. application and connection of the cooling system could , perhaps be improved by eliminating the need to evacute. If possible."

Perfect for a small space with no windows

Pros: affordable and works great! Cons: wish the tubing it came with was longer. it has, plenty of copper wiring but then the tubing was, short. the hvac installers thought it should be, much longer just like the copper was ample.
"If you have someone who is willing to install it, it is a great value! We were fortunate to have a connection to someone in the HVAC business, because every professional we called in the phonebook wouldn't install it since they didn't buy it. Since we were lucky to have someone install it, they were admit that this was the most value for the money that they had ever seen. It works like a champ and looks good. The remote control is convenient also."

A good unit with great features

"1. I use the product in an Arizona room to heat and cool approximately 380 Sq. feet.2. I like the simplicity of operation, the quietness of the unit.. The remote control.[...].3. The cover plate of the condenser(inside unit) was broken on both ends. Note: New one is being sent to me..When the unit is first turned on, there is a squealing sound very similar to that made on an auto when the belt slips, after a few moments, the noise goes away..I would rate the unit higher were it not for this problem."

"My sister had several mini-split systems installed in her huge, hard to cool house and they worked out great. I came home and ordered this smaller, cheaper unit for my smaller area. Much nicer than I expected, with lots of advanced functions. Even included all the expensive wiring which wasn't mentioned in the listing. Blows huge amounts of cold air with very low noise. "I installed the unit myself about 2 weeks ago. I am very happy with the AmcorAire Duo so far. I added the 12000 BTU unit to a carport converted to a bedroom and bath. It cools great and with little noise. The indoor air handler noise is very quiet on low but is more noticeable with the fan on high. The outdoor unit is very quiet and you can't hear it at all from the inside. The remote control is a little busy and needs some refinement. The installation was a little tricky. The pdf guides helped a lot, but could use some work. The guide says to use wire larger than 14 gauge for the power source but it came with 14 gauge. I used 12 gauge wire for the power and the provided 14 gauge to connect the inside unit as instructed. I used a 20amp breaker as instructed so 14 gauge wire was not sufficient. The plastic drain pipe was not to my liking so I recycled an old garden hose for the drain. It came with some parts that I can't identify. Like a crazy gray plastic 90degree bend. I had an HVAC tech come and pull a good vacuum before turning on the unit. He inspected the installation and determined everything was good to go. It did not need any freon added. [@]"

"Don't buy this unit if you live in a humid environment. It does cool the air adequately...no complaints there. However, strangely the air conditioner generates, rather than decreases, humidity. The dehumidifier function is a joke. I own this unit but wished I had purchased a Friedrich, like my friend did. His unit actually dehumidifies."

"Used a similar product when I was in Afghanistan and was very pleased with the operation of the product and its ease of installation. When I returned home and added on to my house I knew I wanted a ductless system for my heating and cooling. [...] the product installed easily and is currently working very well."
