What a useless machine!
Cons: dryer doesn't work., washer doesn't work well., what else there can be with a washer/dryer combo?
"The only thing you can do with this is dipping your laundry in water, literally. 1. This unit as a dryer is not working. If I put 10 pairs of socks and 10 underwear, which all together is under 2lbs, it takes over 2 hours to dry them. If you put 3 bath towels forget about drying it. It will consume more electricity than the regular dryer that uses 250v outlet and quadruple the time. Therefore, there is no reason for this unit to use 110v outlet since it doesn't save anything. 2. This unit doesn't even work well as a washer. No matter how many rinse cycle I choose, it ended up with clothes soaked with detergent. Bubbles from the detergent can never be drained properly since the spins at the end of each rinse cycle or the spin cycle itself doesn't work properly. After spin cycle is over at the top speed (8 spins/sec) for 10 minutes, towels I put in still had enough water. (over a cup of water each towel by gently squeezing it)"

good washer terrible dryer
Pros: good washer for small loads
Cons: what dryer?
"If you need a washer for a small space this might be a good option for you. The dryer is useless! Consider this a washer ONLY. Throw away the connecting hoses and purchase something better, both of mine leaked. The set up instructions can also be tossed. Remember to remove all 3 of the packing bolts before you run the first test."

Review 3 for Summit Front Load Washer Dryer Combo SPWD1470C
Would Recommend: Yes
Pros: very economical best on market., drys without removing clothes!, great purachase price., good construction stainless steel, quiet and compact
Cons: limited load size (a positive for me), poorly writen but serviceable instructions
"This washer is well made and does a great job of cleaning cloths, with total programmable control. It's fun to just watch it work. It is the only combo washer/dryer I found that works on 120 normal AC line conditions, using 15 Amps. With a 10,000 RPM spin cycle clothes take only 30 minutes hung to dry in Arizona. Very economical, performance. Capacity is limited, but fits my needs as a single man, and dryer can be used without pulling the clothes out in the winter, or omitted if you like to hang them to save even more. Performs as described with one exception to the poor English in the manual: Soap does not go in the second tray as described. The soap goes in the first pull out tray, and softener goes in the second one. I haven't used the third tray."
