Sharp 20" Microwave R630
Sleekest and most space-conscious design concept ever. This handsome model actually has the keys and the display on the door. The Auto-Touch Control Panel is on the door so the footprint is nearly 5 inches slimmer than ordinary microwaves. 1100 watts of power means speed for cooking/reheating. Automatic features include 16 sensor settings, More From Your Microwave that has Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Recipes, Defrost and Beverage choices to make cooking a snap.

Pros: small footprint big interior, reliable cooking easy to operate, handy minute cook button, handle door release
Cons: display board unreliable frequently went blank or, dim after oven was only a little over a year old
"This is a wonderful microwave. Mine lasted for 10 years and 1 month. Were it not so cheap to buy a new one to replace it (the magnetron tube died) I would have kept it longer. It was the only microwave on the market with a 16" turntable and less than 20 inches wide. The only complaint I had was that the display would not stay on. Sometimes it was blank for days, sometimes dim, occasionally bright. But since I knew how to operate this oven it didn't matter too much.
And most of the "compu" settings worked very well, - defrosting by weight, etc. Even popped popcorn without burning - stopped at just the right time and was adjustable for different size bags.
If you have this oven hang on to it cause to replace it will cost you lots more counterspace. And the handle door opener is much better than the push button door release which all the 2011 models have."
