Pros: many different settings including xtra rinsing
Cons: none yet

"Well... only had it for a month, but I'm one who values a good review so I thought I'd throw my early 2 cents in...

No problems so far, works great!! Lots of different settings and it was delivered with no problems.

Quiet?...Not. Posted: 8/7/08
"I previously had a Kenmore washer. In need of a new washer I went online and reviewed Consumer Reviews on a variety of washer brands/models. I was sold on the Maytag for its QuietSeries 200 Sound Package. I expected the washer to be as quiet as a mouse. My response the first time I used the washer is that it isn't as quiet as I expected it to be. It definatley is louder than my Kenmore washer ever was. The Maytag has a low and high agitation during the wash cycle that my previous washer did not have so I figured that may contribute to why it's louder. It is really loud when it drains (I guess it's the water pump???). I could have taken the washer back but I already had tore up the box and since I didn't have it delivered to my house I would have needed to load it up in a truck and drive it back to the store. To me, it wasn't worth the hassle. I have learned to live with it. Despite Maytag's quality reputation my next washer some day will most likely be another Kenmore. My retired neighbor has always had a Kenmore and swears by them. I took a chance at trying something else and it didn't work for me...this time."

Good quality & value Posted: 1/30/08
"I purchased my new Maytag washer in October '07, and it has been exactly what I wanted and expected. This washer fits my life perfectly. A good quality Maytag with a lot of options, like water level, water temp and second rinse, but not so many as to be a waste of money. This one is energy efficient rated, and is as quiet (if not more so) than other Kenmore/Whirlpool washers I've owned before. I considered getting another Kenmore & Whirlpool (both are good brands), but after comparing similar models I chose the Maytag. For the money you get, I think, a slightly better washer from a well-known national brand with expertise in laundry applicances. If you do weekly laundry (jeans, towels, bed linens, dress shirts, etc.) like I do, then this high capacity washer might be just the one for you as well. This washer arrives complete with all water/drain hoses, owners manual/instructions, twist down leveling legs and the powercord needed for immediate setup. Very nice indeed."
