"I have had one of these for about a year now in my apartment. The center shelf was already cracked very badly and totally broke in half within a few weeks, but I believe this to be from abuse of some sort as the other shelves have held up just fine.
The freezer works too good, which is a compliment of course - it froze my ice cream so solid that I needed to leave it set out for 1/2 hour before attacking it. Needless to say, I turned the temp down.
I was able to flip the doors to open from the right with relative ease.
The fridge is quiet and works flawlessly, I can't complain at all.."
