Pros: size price freezer drawers
Cons: no rollers on the front
"Let me tell you, it was not easy finding this size fridge! I live in a small house and it finally dawned on me that I did not need a full-size fridge taking up valuable real estate (and wasting energy). I shopped a long time for a full-feature but not humongous fridge. It was a little shocking to me that there were not more to choose from - what is it with Americans that everything has to be big? This is more the size of fridge they use in Europe and I could not be happier. The more expensive fridges in this size had some nice features (like a wine rack, stainless steel finish) but this LG is very very good at half the price. It is the PERFECT size; I cook, I eat fresh veggies, and I like wine, and it has room for all that. And the price was right. I am so happy I made the move to a smaller fridge; it makes me pay more attention to purge what has been living in there for too long, and it looks really nifty in my 850 ft2 bungalow. There is a lot of freezer room and I love the separate drawers. My only complaint is that it does not have rollers on all four corners (only on the back) but I found screw-in rollers on the internet and they work great."

Great small fridge
Posted:1/28/13
"We built out an office and were short on space for the kitchen area. This was a perfect fit and it looks really nice too. It works perfectly as well. Keep in mind that it's 50/50 freezer and fridge, so if you don't need a freezer, keep that in mind."

Just right.....
Posted:1/3/13
Pros: sleek and compact
Cons: not for a big family
"This fridge is perfect size for my small condo and my single lifestyle. I hated how my old fridge sucked up the square footage in my petite kitchen, and I never came close to filling it up. I mean, what single girl needs 20 cu.ft. of fridge space? This little model is sleek and trim, but still has plenty of space for one or two people. It's all I could possibly want. And the bottom freezer is great!
If you're feeding a big family, or if you like super-sized American style appliances, this is not the fridge for you.

Best Purchase Ever

"Buying an appliance online concerned me, but I was not able to find a cabinet depth fridge in my area so I took what I thought was a risk. There was no reason for worry because the entire process was smooth and the delivery was superior to that of store deliveries I have had in the past. The actual fridge is exactly as stated and super functional. The interior design utilizes the smaller storage space to it's fullest. I especially like the drawers in the freezer. After a month of use I still smile every time I open the door."

Extremely Happy
Posted:12/4/12
Pros: excellent value great looking very functional, cool extras like a quick freeze
Cons: none so far
"I bought this refrigerator for my 82 year old mother in law's apartment in our home. I wanted a small, bottom- freezer-type fridge so that she wouldn't have to bend down to see and get stuff out. This is the coolest fridge with neat extras. I hesitated buying it because the cost was so much less than other bottom freezer refrigerators. I'm glad I got it. It's very quiet, it's laid out very nicely and keeps everything at the perfect temperature."

"We purchased this for a basement bar area for our home in Colorado. It is the perfect size and a very nice refrigerator. The freezer drawers make organizing food so easy. The refrigerator has enough room for a small kitchen. i am very happy with my purchase."

Love It!
Posted:11/11/12
Pros: size fit finish accessibility quiet
Cons: haven't found any
"I love my new fridge. I am a regular online shopper, but buying an appliance sight-unseen had me wondering if I had made the right decision. I am thrilled with this one! I did look at small sized refrigerators in the stores and none of them were what I wanted.
I purchased the white model for my very small kitchen. It looks sleek, has a great outside finish, with the trim piece for the bottom, it makes it look high end, the 24"by 24"size gives the fridge a flush mount apperance. It is really quiet, which is important to me living in a small house. I like that it doesn't have an exterior handle to bump into when I walk by.
The inside is spacious with movable shelves and fits everything I need and I have two teenage boys to cook for!
I wasn't sure I would like the freezer drawers but I do. There is loads of space, even for 12" frozen pizzas, and because of the drawers, everything is not piled on top of each other making it difficult to see what I have. I also absolutely love the freezer on the bottom and the fridge on top. I can see everything in the fridge at eye level. The drawers in the freezer glide smoothly even at such cold temperatures.
Delivery was quick and the guys unloaded the fridge, removed it from the packaging, and had it plugged in my kitchen within a matter of 15 minutes. Very professional!
There really is nothing better than knowing you've made a good purchase and every time I have someone to my house, I don't show them the granite counters or the tile floor, I show them my new fridge!

Great product

"Needed a good unit for a small galley kitchen-and this one fit the bill. Spacious enough for pretty much everything I need. Service, selection from AJ Madison was excellent; smooth delivery. I would buy from them again, no doubt.
Only "con" is that "new" smell took longer than expected to clear from refrigerator; finally gone, but it took way longer than it should have in my opinion.

Great 2nd fridge

Pros: size, modern design, freezer on bottom, drawers in freezer
Cons: cannot fit gallon milk jugs upright
"We are a family of 6 and have always only had one refrigerator, which necessitated going to the grocery store every couple of days for many things -- like milk, eggs, yogurt, bread, etc. We often considered a 2nd fridge for the garage, but never felt right about putting one in the garage since where we live summer temperatures are in the 100+ degree range and our garage gets even hotter. We do have a large laundry room adjacent to our kitchen and decided to look for a small fridge to put in there instead (a regular size fridge would have been too big). This 10 cu ft fridge has been a great 2nd fridge for us. It allows us to stock up on milk, eggs, pre-packaged lettuce/other vegetables, tubs of salsa & parmesan cheese, packages of shredded cheese, yogurts, and even bread / bagels (these go in separate drawers in the freezer -- 3 loaves of bread fit in one drawer). I do have to lay gallon size milk jugs on their side to fit -- they are too tall to fit with all the shelves. Because the milk jugs are stored/unopened (since this is our 2nd/extra fridge), it works fine to have them on their side -- however, I would imagine they would leak if they were open so it may not be ideal if this was your primary fridge. We are extremely pleased with this fridge!!!"

"I had to look for a while to find a refrigerator that fit in the tiny place I had in my apartment for it. This one is the appropriate size for a Manhattan apartment, looks sharp and works great. No sound whatsoever, which is a welcome change from the Summit piece of garbage I used to have."

limited choices at this price point
Posted:8/14/12
Pros: appearance quiet
Cons: price per sq ft
"It is a nice looking slim fridge that runs quietly and efficiently. While there were cheaper models, and several more expensive models, this one hit our sweet spot. But for this much money - you can buy full size fridges for this much - you would expect the drawers and inside to be of higher quality."

Pros: 99.9 pro...
Cons: just needs a light in the freezer. that's it.
"It's a perfect fit in my tiny East Village NYC apartment. Landlord thankfully let me buy my own refrigerator. I never would have never gotten something this nice.
Quality of Life starts with your food. This refrigertor keeps my food much longer than my old one.
The only thing I wish this refrigerator had, would be light in the freezer part. Not having it is no big deal, my NYC apt. does not get that much light, so I have to just look a little harder.

Great refrig for a small apt.
Posted:7/16/12
Pros: quality product attractive freezer down
Cons: pricey
"I wanted a 10 cubic foot refrigerator to fit a small space in an apt. we were refurbishing. We decided to spend a little extra to make it nice, so it has cherry cabinets and a Franke stainless steel sink. I'm a huge fan of bottom freezers; it amazes me that refrigerators are made any other way. When I found the LG, I knew that was the one I wanted. We splurged and got the stainless, so it would match the kitchen. I'm delighted we did--it is beautiful! It was pricey, but so worth it!"

Small but perfect
Posted:6/28/12
Pros: quiet! nice looking. quick freeze button.
Cons: small on the inside but fine for two plus baby
"After lots of research I wasn't sure about it until I went to a nearby store to take a look. It's perfect for a NY apt. We got the white model (not silver), and it looks great in our IKEA kitchen. It has nice storage options - I like the three levels of baskets in the freezer to help organize. But it's small. If you tend to buy groceries in bulk, this won't do. On the plus side - the size and shape makes the whole fridge area accessible and usable and easy to organize."

Perfect for townhome
Posted:6/28/12
Pros: freezer compartment space appearance small size
Cons: none that we have experienced yet
"WE moved from a larger home into a townhome recently and didn't have room for our chest freezer. We also needed a bit of overflow fridge space to chill sodas and bottled waters. The space we had was limited, so needed a unit with a small footprint. I looked high and low for a combination fridge freezer that had a good sized freezer in it and this one is just perfect for us. The freezer space is great with the separate drawers, and is much larger than the typical freezer compartment in a smaller fridge. Even holds a pizza. WE chose curbside delivery which was no problem - it's easy to move with a dolly and two strong people."

Excellent Refrigerator
Posted:3/26/12
"I read the reviews before I bought. This definitely fits the reviews. I LOVE IT!!!!! Quiet, cool, and Freezing Cold!!!!
As they have said it does not accommodate a gallon of Milk unless you remove a shelf. No problem I like it with out.
Only thing I wasn't sure about and I searched everywhere and couldn't find an answer was the drawer spacing in the freezer. I like frozen pizzas and looking at the picture the freezer drawers look to be small. I crossed my fingers and ordered it anyway. I was relieved when the Refrigerator arrived. One draw out of the 3 was deep enough for 12" frozen pizzas!!!"
