The LG HVAC Advantage LG HVAC systems offer a range of solutions that are cost efficient, quiet and attractive. They provide a smart alternative to both central HVAC and window-mounted air conditioners, and are available in a variety of configurations to suit different cooling and heating situations. Split Systems These innovative systems are "split" into indoor and outdoor units. The interior units are available in several different units. The interior units are available in several different configurations: Art Cool, standard wall-mounted, Floor Standing and ceiling cassettes. All interior units have remote controls for easy use. Installation by a qualified HVAC contractor is safe and easy - no duct work or sheet metal is needed. Single, dual and tri-zone systems, as well as cooling only and heat pump models, are available. Flex Multi-Split Dual-, Tri- and Quad-Zone Air Conditioning Systems The larger, Flex Multi-Split systems operate two, three or four interior units that are mounted in separate rooms. Each indoor unit comes with its own remote control, allowing the customer to set the temperature individually in different rooms. These units are connected to a single exterior unit. The interior units are available in a variety of styles, including Art Cool, Standard, Ceiling Cassette, and Ceiling Concealed Duct models. Dual-, Tri- and Quad-Zone are available in Heat Pump systems. Warranty Info Luxuries Of A Mini-Split (Ductless Split System) Ductless Split Air Conditioner and Heat Pump products offer wide versatility in solving your cooling and heating requirements. The Indoor unit (evaporator) is mounted inside the room, and usually goes very unnoticeable. It is connected to the outdoor unit (condenser) via refrigerant lines and inter-unit wiring through a 3-1/2" opening in the wall. Since no ductwork is required, installation is simple, fast and efficient. There is no need to use up window space or cut large openings in existing walls, which could undermine the integrity of your structure, and even pose security risks. Since the Rotary compressor is located in the outdoor unit, compressor operating noise is virtually eliminated from the indoor. The indoor unit has been uniquely designed to provide Whisper Quiet operation while delivering comfort throughout the room(s). In addition, rotary compressors provide efficient, powerful cooling at the lowest noise levels in the industry. Installation and Warranty Info AJ Madison recommends the installation of a Ductless Split System to be done by a trained and qualified HVAC technician with the proper knowledge and background. A trained technician will be able to judge the best location for the air handling (evaporator) unit and also the correct size for the area it has to cool. For assistance with all your technical needs please contact our technical department at email@example.com. Note: AJ Madison will only finalize a Mini-Split (Ductless Split System) purchase with an authorized HVAC Technician. Should you experience an issue during the installation or the initial startup of the unit please do not contact the manufacturer. You should have the technician that installed the units contact either AJ Madison or the manufacturer. We cannot accept any service or warranty calls from anybody but a licensed HVAC technician. We have full technical support team available to help you throughout the installation process. AJ Madison, Inc. cannot be held liable for improper installation and operation of any product purchased from our company. Should a warranty issue arise where parts will need to be replaced, an installation receipt will be required along with your AJ Madison sales receipt. Failure to provide a receipt or invoice may result in the warranty not being honored. Note: Warranties on mini split air conditioners only include parts and do not include labor. The licensed HVAC Technician who installs your air conditioner should always provide you with a labor warranty (preferably for a full year to compliment the manufacturers' parts warranty).

concealed air handlers
Pros: works well, super quiet
"Install from start to finish took me a week but I've never done an ac install before. The next time will be much quicker. Good quality and no major issues
I had to use a torch to loosen one of the cover caps ( for the ac lines) on the outdoor unit."

Now I'm Happy
Pros: great for any space especially for interior space
Cons: make sure to have svc contract and 5 yr warranty, don't self-install. if in nj use reiner p & elect.
"About 5 yrs ago I replaced my wall units in my apartment w/ (2) LG's Dual Zone (Heat/Cool), Duct-Free, Multi-Split, 24K BTU (model LMU240HE) outdoor units w/ (4) Indoor Art Cool mirror finish air-handlers (model LMAN121HNM). Boy, that's a mouth full.
Ok--2 years past and 1 outdoor unit blew a compressor. Reiner Group (vendor) was fabulous and replaced the entire unit (which contains 2 compressors) w/ a new unit. The next year, again that unit blows a compressor. Now they can't find another unit in the US because that model was replaced with a new model called an "inverter" (model LMU246HV). Again Reiner came through (but at a price) and this time gave me the new model with 2 new interior air-handlers, as required by the newer model.
Aside from these earlier problems, both systems are now operating great--the newer one maybe a little cooler. But as I was told by the experts--don't have big expectations when the temps go above 95 degrees and your facing west on a bright sunny day.
I recomend either the older (MPS Variable) or the newer (Inverter) system. Both working great.
If anyone is buying the older system or already owns the older system, I just happen to have 2 interior, mirror finish, Art-Cool, wall air-handlers for sale! You could save hundreds if you buy the compressor unit without the air-handlers.
