Pros: works well, super quiet
" Install from start to finish took me a week but I've never done an ac install before. The next time will be much quicker.
Good quality and no major issues
I had to use a torch to loosen one of the cover caps ( for the ac lines) on the outdoor unit. "

Pros: great for any space especially for interior space
Cons: make sure to have svc contract and 5 yr warranty, don't self-install. if in nj use reiner p & elect.
" About 5 yrs ago I replaced my wall units in my apartment w/ (2) LG's Dual Zone (Heat/Cool), Duct-Free, Multi-Split, 24K BTU (model LMU240HE) outdoor units w/ (4) Indoor Art Cool mirror finish air-handlers (model LMAN121HNM). Boy, that's a mouth full.
Ok--2 years past and 1 outdoor unit blew a compressor. Reiner Group (vendor) was fabulous and replaced the entire unit (which contains 2 compressors) w/ a new unit. The next year, again that unit blows a compressor. Now they can't find another unit in the US because that model was replaced with a new model called an "inverter" (model LMU246HV). Again Reiner came through (but at a price) and this time gave me the new model with 2 new interior air-handlers, as required by the newer model.
Aside from these earlier problems, both systems are now operating great--the newer one maybe a little cooler. But as I was told by the experts--don't have big expectations when the temps go above 95 degrees and your facing west on a bright sunny day.
I recomend either the older (MPS Variable) or the newer (Inverter) system. Both working great.
If anyone is buying the older system or already owns the older system, I just happen to have 2 interior, mirror finish, Art-Cool, wall air-handlers for sale! You could save hundreds if you buy the compressor unit without the air-handlers.
e-mail me if any interest or any questions in general "
