"This is my second Kitchenaid disposal and since the first one worked formore than 10 years, I'm counting on this one to do the same."

Stops on a dime

"The disposal was making sounds like grinding metal and finally quit running. I hit the reset button and used the manual crank, but all I got was a humming sound. Then I removed the disposal to get a better look inside and found a nearly worn out dime lodged inside. After removing the dime the disposal works fine, demonstrating its durability."

"This disposer was a replacement of an older Kitchen Aid unit which had developed a leak. It was a little more challenging to install this unit but it works well. I actually used a jack to get it tight enough to allow engagement with the cam lock feature."
