Jenn-Air 30" Modular Electric Cooktop JED8230AD
Jenn-Air's 30" downdraft modular cooktop remains a popular choice year after year. At the base price, it comes with a grill and an empty bay, which accepts various heating element cartridges at an additional cost. Typically, this unit is purchased with one or two surface element cartridges. Cartridge choices include solid element, conventional coil, halogen, and radiant elements. The plethora of available accessories serve to make this unit incredibly versatile. Accessories include a griddle, a grill cover, a wok, a rotiss-kebab, a cooker-steamer, and a big pot canning element. Both bays on this unit are convertible. A two-speed fan and light bar are included as well. This cooktop comes in white, black, and stainless steel.

Jenn-air cook top

"I have had this cook top for many years. I am trying to get an additional part for it. I have the grill, the grittle, the old electric eyes and one white porcelain side. I need another white porcelain part but I cannot find it so that I can check the price... I have had this appliance for thirty years and when my children lived at home I cooked every day including canning etc. If I built another home I would certainly have the same cook top but I live alone now and cannot seem to get quotes on prices for the black and white modular pieces that I need. I hope you can help me.....Thank You, jj"

Great stove!!

"My old Jennaire was 22 years old and was top quality. This new one pretty much was the same just updated. The burners heat up fast, love the grill, and I also got the griddle attachement. I still need to get one more module. I thought it came with at least one. It took over a month to get it due to remodel from Jennaire but worth it."

Some Things Should Not Change

"I am remodeling the kitchen and needed to update the cooktop. What better way than to replace the old Jenn-Air Downdraft with a new one. The old one was getting scruffy, but worked perfectly for the last 20 years. Why change if you don't have to. Better yet, all the modules will work in the new unit."
