Nice machine for the money

Pros: great price nice cleaning results.
Cons: not as quiet as one might hope.

"We bought this GE for a second home, and we bought this model primarily because we were interested in GE's claims about noise levels during operation. We also have a Bosch, and you don't even know its on while it operates. In comparison, the GE is obviously louder. For starters, the GE has no sound barrier of any kind around the tub -- the Bosch has a rubberized shell completely encassing its tub. Second, Bosch has taken steps with the motors/pumps to alleviate vibration/noise. I can say first hand that GE has not done so. As far as "clean" goes, both the Bosch and this GE model seem to be on par. Overall, the GE is a nice machine, and will get the job done."

this was a great surprise

Pros: large eats food cleans everything without rinsing, very quiet easy to wipe down energy efficient
Cons: i can't find a thing wrong with this i love it

"My old dishwasher was recalled by GE. They offered a rebate if you purchased a new one so why not upgrade :)!
First, it has both a top and bottom spray and it really does "eat food". I was so tired of sludge in the indentations of the top of my coffee cups, no more. This is so quiet I never know it is running. I live in a town house and the kitchen opens to the living room, I NEVER hear it.
I really like the digital read out, no buttons that collect spills or gunk (loading this while I'm still cooking) and it is very simple to use and it does hold 16 place settings or a ton of pots and pans. Even though the levels don't fold down like the more expensive versions they are shorter and allow you to put various sizes in without things getting hung up on the tines. Also, the silver ware compartment can be shortened and moved leaving the sides open for cake pans, broiler pans, and mixing bowls.
It is very clean looking and the indented lower panel AGAIN doesn't collect spills.
I also checked everywhere and this price could not be matched by anyone even with the shipping."
