Great Oven

Pros: wonderful oven to look at and cook with Cons: front door not fully insulated
"I was nervous to purchase this on looks alone since I did not know the brand and found it tricky to find info about. However, I took a chance and it looks fabulous - classic but with an appearance of very high end that looks "far" more than the actual price tag. Cooking with for this last year has been great. The cooktop has two very powerful gas burners that work well and a great central ring for woks etc. I have had no problem with simmering on the lower setting of the lightest burner but it can be tricky on bigger burners. The fan is noisier than I would have imagined and the oven door less insulated than some I have used - upper parts of the front door can get a little hot when cooking which makes me slightly nervous around my child. But the cooking features and ability of the fan oven are great. I am no Julia Childs but I have enjoyed learning the ovens capabilities and the size of the single oven is huge - great for large meals. I would definitely recommend this oven for the price and looks (and you'll enjoy the oven envy for a product that nobody else has)."

More than just a Pretty Face

Pros: design craftsmanship performance and value Cons: low temp control of top burners
"It was love at first sight! The hammered bronze finish would look fab in my new kitchen...perfect with my aged copper sink! A manufacturer's backorder delayed our "first meeting" but it's sure been worth the wait. Design and crastmanship are excellent. Love the choice of legs. The oven is enormous, heat is even and constant ensuring great baking. Takes a little time and effort to understand the oven modes and control icons. Sealed gas burners assure easy cleaning. Five burner configuration is very functional with the large central burner able to handle the largest stockpot. Low burner settings are not really very low, making simmering a little challenging. Switching to a small burner helps and the issue may be the aperture size and our high altitude location. We're working on that.
I have and will continue to recommend this beautiful range to anyone looking for high performance, impecable design and great value."

Gorgeous range!

Pros: looks great lots of space Cons: oven knobs hard to get at firsthard to keep clean
"I love this range and have been very happy with it. Especially the "classic" look, it is so unique and really works in my kitchen. The oven is a little bit hard to figure out the knobs, not intuitive for people new to the kitchen. Also, it seems to take longer to preheat. The stainless and chrome are beautiful, but show a lot of dust and fingerprints, although I like the look so much, it is worth it. Have only had it a few weeks, but it seems to work great, so I don't know how service or warranty will be, but I called around and it sounds like most repairman can fix it if they can get the parts. Also, the oven is not as deep as you might like. Another thing, take note that the width is 35 3/16, not 36". That caused us the have to rework our countertop."

The look of a high priced range

Pros: great for baking nice appearance. Cons: timer is not easy to operate without messing up, the time on the clock. burners are sometimes, sensitive to light.
"This range is still new for us. So far, it has been great. It was a dream to have for Christmas dinner, cooking on all 5 burners, baking inside and keeping food warm in the warming drawer. Very versitile! We are still getting used to lighting the burners, sometimes they are sensitive. We have not experimented with many of the oven settings, typically have used only one setting. Baking Christmas cookies was wonderful, the results of an electric oven for baking were awesome! The oven has an incredibly tight seal that does not let heat out. Would definitely recommend this item."

Exceeded Wildest Expectations

Pros: attractive solid construction easy to clean Cons: noisy fan
"This range was purchased for a major kitchen remodel, basically off only a few internet pictures. It has arrived with an oven knob missing, and AJMadison had it replaced promptly and painlessly. Installed, it is absolutely beautiful. Works well. Oven fan can be a little noisy, but it is huge and cooks evenly.
