Value priced 24" wall oven

Pros: affordable electrolux quality
Cons: will not accept anything over 18.5 inches, in length.
"This your basic "no frills" oven. It works well and looks very good in stainless. However the white and black models really show just how basic it really is. After many days of looking for a replacement of an old Kenmore it came down to a few units that would fit into the space available. We chose this unit as it is made by Electrolux who owns Frigidaire. The pros: has approx 3.2 cubic feet interior and cooks evenly. Very fast getting up to the desired temperature. The cons: Will not accept large roasters that avg 19" in length for a 22+ lb turkey. This can be overcome by buying disposable roaster pans which are mostly 18" and barely fit diagonally in the unit."

Great basic oven

Pros: great quality for the price
Cons: controls are not easy to use to determine what fun, ction is being used.
"I like the quick start electronic ingition. Well insulated so it reaches the designated tempature very quickly. Tested the temperature with meat thermometer and it is right on.
There is not a good method for designating when the over reaches it's temperature though.
Having trouble keeping the clock set after using the oven. maybe something I am doing wrong."

"This oven replaces our 32 year old dinosaur and we are thrilled with its simplicity and sleek look. Lights and pre-heats quickly and seems economical. It was somewhat cumbersome to install since the gas fittings had to be changed [...] but this was to be expected and well worth the effort."

Great-looking, fits in small space

"I needed a wall oven to replace the old one I had. This one was perfect because it fit into the 24" space of the original. Stainless steel ovens that were of this size were hard to find, so I was very happy when I found this one. The controls are easy-to-use and work well. The electronic pilot is also a welcome addition. Space inside the oven is small, but for my needs, it is just fine. I am very pleased with my purchase."

"I love my oven. What I like the most is the fact that it automatically keeps the oven at the same heat setting, without having to worry if the food or cake might burn."

"It fit the small space we had available [...]I dont think the specs gave the dimentions of the oven but the depth was 1 1/2" shorter than the previous, wont allow a full cookie sheet, but the turkey fit! The 24 " cabinet is the basic reason, this is one of two gas units I found on the market that would fit. No room for a coiled flex gas connection , hook ups were not per packaged instructions or spec but I made it work.ThanksW G Nixon"

"There were a couple of surprises. The on-line rough-in info as well as that shipped from the Mfgr. were not accurate for the model ordered and shipped. All rough in locations were determined after delivery. Mfgr allows NO space for a coiled gas line. Unit can not be pulled after connection of gas, difficult to tighten due to connection location. Most of these issues may be dictated by the 24" width, and few choices are available. It will not take a "normal" cookie sheet size, but did accept the 18 lb turkey!! Not room for anything else but I made it work, both the installation and use. Happy to have a new oven and quality is good for the price.Super service from AJ and delivery, would buy again, lucky to find a 24" unit, saved [$] even after shipping and it was here 6 weeks ahead of a local store. Thank youW.G Nixon"

"We "refreshed" the kitchen in our circa 1970 house meaning we kept the original cabinets. While a 24" oven is smaller than most "normal" 30 or 36 inchers, this one still has the capacity we need for a couple of empty-nesters.
High points: Looks and style. You get the high-end look of stainless at a very reasonable price.
Capacity - we opted for the non-self-cleaning oven because the inside capacity is much larger than self-cleaning ovens with the thicker walls. This one has a broiler too, while our old Kenmore lacked that feature.
Performance - preheat time is much shorter than our old Kenmore model. The oven seems to hold its temperature evenly too. No hot spots to burn.
Easy to use - the electronic controls are quite simple to use.
Low points: Display - While baking, the temperature is displayed, not the time. If using the timer, then the countdown is shown.
Oven light is manually switched - when you open the oven door, the light remains off. You must manually switch it on and off yourself.
Overall this is quite an improvement over our old Kenmore. Finding a 24" oven is difficult enough, but this one fits the opening (by the way, installation was SO easy...) and our budget. It looks and performs great. What more can you ask?"
