Pros: variable temps upright bottle storage nice desig

"I researched wine coolers on the internet and this one seemed by far the most desirable. There is room for 4 bottles to stand up, so you can put an opened bottle in it with a stopper and it will stay well until you finish off the bottle. I am extremely pleased that the temps are adjustable also. It takes up very little floor space. My daughter and her husband have this model. I liked it very much when I saw theirs. When I decided to order one for myself, I still looked at many models and decided that this one would fit my needs well. I made the right choice!"

Cons: noisy
"Latest in a series of wine coolers purchased by us. Predecessors have failed after approximately 1.5yrs on average. Can't understand why I have have a refrigerator for 20 years but these things just wont last??
This latest, the Avanti 1201 has very good styling with a very helpful area for opened bottles allowing upright storage.
However, it is noisy when the compressor is cycling which seems to be very often.
Overall a good purchase, but I am cynical about the product line."

Pros: storage capacity vertical storage option
Cons: lowest temperature setting is 47. a little noisy
"This product has a very good storage capability, especially with the vertical option. I was a little disappointed the minimum temperature setting capability is 47 degrees. Apparently most experts view a certain minimum temperature for either white wines or red wines. I would like the opportunity to choose lower if that's my preference. It was a little bit noiser than what I was expecting. It's still a good value for the capacity."

"We have a counter depth fridge. This was a great addition to allow us to store open wine with refrigeration and also to hold bottles unopened in need of refrigeration. A wonderful addition."
