not inpressed Posted: 9/6/09
Pros: beautiful to look at., very quiet
Cons: water staining. inefficient cleaning

"bought a new electrolux dishwasher for our newly renovated kitchen. Not inpressed by this model...i'm unsure if maybe I got a lemon...but my $450 Beumark cleaned 10x better. This model cost 3x as much...and leaves water stains all over dishes and doesn't clean well. Have tried many different tactics to rectify the problem...which in itself is the problem.
for the price I paid the dishwasher should load and empty itself!!

Good Dishwasher Posted: 7/2/09
Pros: works great - very quiet
Cons: protruding handle

"This dishwasher looks great and works great. It is so quiet, you sometimes don't realizing it's running. The only downside is the handle sticks out several inches. In our kitchen, it interferes with an adjacent cabinet drawer that we had to cut. I like the hidden controls, but they are awfully small to read."

Pros: quiet quiet quiet load capacity looks
Cons: price

"Is it running? Seriously, so quiet, I accidentally opened it while it was running to put a dish in it. Not an issue to do so, but it was a shock! Control panel is on top of door, so on this model you do not know what cycle it's in. I believe there is a model with a small indicator on the front of the door, but we liked the clean looks of the plain stainless steel door, and I'm sure we will get used to how quiet it runs! :)
We had our doubts about how many dishes you can get in this puppy with the racks tines being so close, but you can load this up to the hilt. Granted, if you have dishes that have a deep profile, you may want to bring some of those dishes into the store (we did) and check to see how they fit. Apparently a lot of people do this, as the sales person wasn't surprised at all when we did this.
Electrolux does not allow retailers to discount, so you are left with meager discounts from Electrolux. Still, we got what we paid for and are very pleased.

Great dishwasher...BUT Posted: 1/20/09
Pros: very quiet, cleans well, adjustable top rack
Cons: heavy door, no timer, bottom rack is low to the floor, handle is inconvenient

"Overall I am happy with the quality of this dishwasher and the Electrolux line of appliances. BUT I don't like that this dishwasher does not have a timer on it to show you how much time is left in the cycle. It is so quiet that you have no idea when it is done without opening the door to check (guess I was used to the visible indicators on my old machine). Also, the door is kind of heavy and you have to lower it almost to the floor in order to pull the bottom rack out. The large handle is in the way if you are used to standing against your counter while preparing foods."
