"I purchased this dishwasher based on Consumer Reports recommendation and have been pleased with it. I have been using it for 2 months now. It replaced a really cheap-o bottom of the line Frigidaire model that the house builder had installed when he built the house. I couldn't stand using the cheap-o model anymore that was so loud you couldn't hear the TV and had to be run one day sooner than needed every time since its loading capacity was so small, and I wanted to get a really good dishwasher to replace it, yet one that wouldn't bust the bank either, since I was replacing 4 appliances at one time. The dishwasher is a very stripped-down model as far as the wash choices you have, and there are no extras at all, but it does the cleaning job extremely well and I couldn't possibly even describe how quiet it is compared to all my past dishwashers! on/off button for 3 whole seconds. The rack design is very inflexible and frustrating at times to get your dishes to fit in right, and the silverware basket takes up the wrong space no matter where you put it, as you don't have many choices on that, either. Also, the wash cycle takes 2 hours to complete -- the longest I've ever had, and really too long to enable me to get the dishes put back away in a reasonable amount of time. Read all the other reviews; they are all right on the money."

"I purchased this dryer based on Consumer Reports recommendation and have been extremely pleased with it. I have been using it for 2 months now. It replaced a really cheap-o bottom of the line Whirlpool model that the house builder had installed when he built the house. I couldn't stand using the cheap-o model anymore and wanted to get a really good dryer, yet one that wouldn't bust the bank either, since I was replacing 4 appliances at one time. The dryer has a whole bunch of different drying cycle choices, more than I've ever had before, and I love the Sensor Dry feature. The controls are very easy to work. There are so many choices that sometimes you have to think for a bit before each load on what exactly you want to do with this one. The dryer is a little on the noisy side as Consumer Reports had said it would be, but it isn't as bad as some others out there, either. I also really like the interior light. One of the very best features, in my opinion, is the really tiny lint filter that fits right in the front of the inside of the door opening -- you don't even have to take it out to get the lint out! You simply wet your fingers with a squirt bottle and run your fingers across the surface of the lint filter while it is still in the dryer, and every bit of the lint comes right off in a little wad you can then go throw away. How easy is that!! Finally, I think the silver color of the top control panel is very nice looking against the white of the machine. Other than being on the noisy side, the only complaint I would voice is that when a load is finished, it doesn't completely go off by itself; a light keeps flashing saying 0 minutes left until you press and hold the on/off button for 3 whole seconds. This wouldn't be that big of a deal if the button wasn't so hard to press, but it is a little hard to keep pressed for 3 seconds due to the way it is made, and sometimes it hurts my finger a little doing so. Plus a lot of times I'm in a hurry and don't want to hold the button for a while until the light goes off."

"REPLACED A FRIGIDAIRE DRYER AND HAVE REALLY ENJOYED THIS GE DRYER. VERY QUIET, CLOTHES DRY, PLENTY OF CYCLES FOR VARIOUS LOADS. STILL ENJOYING THE NEWEST OF IT AND HAVEN'T FOUND ANY FAULTS."

"I needed an electic dryer, which needed to match the super size capacity of my old washing machine. This was priced well, large enough, and I'm happy the clothes are coming out dry. There's lots of different settings, and for the past month, no problems. I recommend it to anyone with a big family."
