Danby Countertop Dishwasher DDW496W

The 23" Portable Countertop Dishwasher by Danby is ideal for those who live in smaller apartments in cities or with roommates. It fits in the tightest of quarters, yet holds up to 4 place settings so you still have plenty of room to fit all of your dinner dishes. This unit also offers a sani-wash cycle option, which reaches up to 158 degrees, ensuring that all bacteria and germs are eliminated for your health and safety purposes. The Danby Portable Dishwasher is also hassle-free to install because it connects easily to any tap! Lastly, if you are environmentally conscious, this is the perfect purchase for you because water consumption is especially low, with each cycle using only 2.3 gallons during a normal wash.

Excellent machine with few flaws
Posted:6/5/08
"I got this dishwasher two years ago. At that time I was living in a small 1.5 room studio. The small machine did not take much space. it is the most useful piece of machine ( including my husband (:-} )I have ever got for my self. I have been using this machine for last two years regularly, almost everyday. It holds a lot of dishes, not super big ones but regular size stuff, and actually you can arrange the dishes in many different ways. With the sani wash it cleans pretty well, except if you have very stubborn food residue. If you use the cold wash then dishes come out with spots sometimes.
The two reasons I am giving this product 4 star is because after two years of use the heating system of the dish washer stopped working and the see through plastic window part ( the inside part) came off. Anyway I glued the window with water proof glue and its working fine and have been using only hot water supply from my faucet. Its been working fine.
In my opinion its worth every penny if you live in a small apartment which does not have a an option for installing a full size dish washer."
