Great size for a second freezer

Pros: great size for second freezer

"I think many people buy too big for their second freezer and I wanted to avoid making that error. I was a little worried buying this small, but I I'm very pleased with my purchase.

It's been in use for 3 months and I haven't found any issues with it."

Back order arrives on time

"I made an online purchase of a Danby DCF401W 3.6 cubic foot chest freezer on 06/25/09. When the shipping status did not change on the AJMadison site in 3 days I called and was told that the freezer was out of stock but was still available.
I called again in 2 days and was told that they could make sure it would be at my local shipping company dock by 7/8/09. It was at the local shipping company on 7/7/09. When I picked it up the shipper asked if I wanted to open and inspect, a minor scrap and ding was noted on one side near the bottom and I accepted the shipment as is. AJMadison provided me good customer service, and the shipping company that they used did also.

The freezer works great, it is quiet, and keeps a constant -2 F. temp with the dial setting in the mid range. A good buy, as we use it as a second freezer for seasonal items.
This size model with a temp control was not available in the local area stores."

Great Small Freezer
