beautiful, large, low maintenance sink
Posted:10/21/10
Pros: beautiful large capacity low maintenance.
Cons: none.
" The big bowl is large enough to hold my largest skillets including the very long handles they have. The small bowl is perfect for holding the strainer off the bottom. This is hands down the most practical allocation of space across bowls I've ever had.
The volume of the bowls is so much larger than it was in the cast iron sink that used to be there that it is difficult to believe both sinks have the same external dimensions.
The metallic gray looks gorgeous in my white corian counter with a white/gray marble splash. My appliances are stainless steel and this sink complements them beautifully. I bought a solid stainless steel faucet (not a stainless steel "finish") and the combination of this sink and faucet is stunning.
The sink never, ever shows stains of any kind, not water or coffee or anything else. I plan to never go back to cast iron or stainless steel.
Last, the material is considerably more "forgiving" than is cast iron. If you accidentally bang a cup or saucer against the sink, chances are the cup will not crack. "

Just what I wanted
Posted:8/4/10
Pros: looks- bowl size- easy care
Cons: none yet
" When I decided to get granite counterr tops, I knew I wanted an undermount sink. The question was what kind.
After visiting with friends who have various sinks, composit, granit, stainless, I decided on Blanco. Great choice. Looks good. Is a heavy weight. No rattle with the garbage disposal.
Easy to clean. Looks great. And I love the style of the sink. Small sink for the disposal and a sink really big enough to wash any of my dishes or pots easily. "

Fantastic Sink
Posted:10/12/09
Pros: doesn't scratch or mark and easy to clean
Cons: none
" This is the greatest sink ever. I have had porcelain and stainless steel and both scratch and dent. This sink is fabulous. Any marks just buff out with a Scotch Brite pad and any kind of gentle soap. I am moving to a new house and fully intend to replace the stainless with another Silgranit. "
